It’s very common for people to try therapy more than once before finding the right fit! Therapy is a deeply personal process, and sometimes the approach, the timing in your life, or the relationship with the therapist simply isn't the right match for you at that time. If you’ve had a disappointing experience in the past, your hesitation to try again is perfectly valid. In many cases, though, a different therapist, a different therapeutic approach, or even being in a different place in your life can lead to a very different experience.
